Halloween Weekend in Seoul

Halloween in Seoul is extravagant. Walking on the street around Hongdae and Itaewon was a crazy experience. Everyone was dressed in Halloween costumes and the energy of the holiday was easily felt. I visited my friends at EWHA University and we went to a club in Hongdae. There are many clubs in Hongdae and it can be a bit overwhelming. It was a lot of fun though and we met a lot of interesting people along the way. Many clubs in the area charge a 15,000 won entrance fee but this usually includes a drink or even unlimited drinks. The fee at the club I went to included drinks all night. As a result, everyone ended up dancing long into the night. If you are in Korea and want to have the Halloween party of your life be sure to visit Hongdae or Itaewon where the costume parties are abundant!

Here I go again! It is about time I officially started my blog about my journeys in Korea. I am hoping to update with lots of exciting images, travel tips, funny stories and anything in-between. I can't believe it has been three months since I arrived in Korea on the TaLK program (Teach and Learn in Korea) and the journey is just beginning as I have over eight months left in my contract. Today, I am heading to Seoul from my new hometown of Jinju. Let's see what type of fun images I can capture over the weekend.
